KUDOS Award Winner 2019 - Tunbridge Wells Flyerz

Flyerz hockey is England Hockey’s name for hockey for those with physical or learning disabilities. TW Flyerz is a section established in 2017 at Tunbridge Wells Hockey Club (TWHC) to bring Flyerz hockey to the club, the first club in Kent to offer this. The KUDOS Award was established by Kent Sport in 2017 to recognise and reward innovative projects which are helping people in Kent and Medway to be more active. Three shortlisted finalists are selected from the entries each year to work with Kent Sport, and its media partners, to produce a short promotional film to be shown at the annual Everyday Active Conference. Attendees at the conference, ranging across the sport, leisure, community and health sectors, then have the chance to vote for an overall winner.
