Some very impressive passing from the team captained by Natalia and some especially good defending with stand out performances from Anna and Harry.
Against a very strong South Saxons side the team held it to 0-0 at half time and after the flurry of goals again tightened things up for the last 10 mins. A very creditable performance. Silky skills in midfield from number 93, Jacob particularly caught the eye. Obviously slim pickings up front given the strength of the Saxons team but we did threaten on several occasions. Olivia, our other number 93, also showed some great skills but had to go off injured from a hit to her ankle. Wishing her a speedy recovery. Many thanks for Paul stepping in to substitute for her. In the bar afterwards, Several Saxons players commented warmly on Daisy's performance, which is quite a compliment. Well done all round.
