U13 Girls away v Reigate

The U13 girls did really well in their first competitive 11-a-side game. After some confusion from the opposition on start time the girls went behind early on in the game but this did not dampen their spirits, even though they were 3-0 down fairly quickly. They worked really hard as a team and their positional play improved as the game went on. Some tenacious defending at the back along with some great saves from Lucie meant the team frustrated the opposition for periods of the game. The midfield made good runs down the right and left, applied pressure in the middle winning short corners in the last quarter of the game. The girls all grew in confidence as the game went on. The score line finished 5-0 but the team should be pleased with how well they did in their first 11 a side game. Well done everyone, Emma & Michael
