Christmas Number 1

It's all about taking your chances. Sevenoaks had two decent chances and scored both. TWells had more than I can remember but only got two.

That said the team did well to come from 1-0 and 2-1 down to get the point that puts them top of the league at Christmas. Not bad considering we were only promoted into the league this year and testament to some great team spirit and people going out of their way to make sure they are available to play week in, week out. Thanks as ever to our umpires Chris and Marvo!

Greens galore, including for Tommy and Dmitriy and DotD nominations for quite a few players... we'll call it a draw. Some tactical voting (only minor threats were issued) saw the captain pick up MotM, a very rare occurrence indeed.

Bring on 2020 - all we want for Christmas is Mat Thewlis back on the scoresheet.
