Ladies 1st XI come away with a clean sheet

The Tunbridge Wells ladies 1st team had an extremely tough game this Saturday, playing Blackheath away.
It was a very fast match with both teams playing well and breaking through the opposition, down the pitch.
With lots and back and forth it was hard to keep the momentum up but Tunbridge Wells held strong in defence led by Ali Playle, the goalie making some amazing saves.
Both teams were evenly matched and neither managed to get the goal in the back of the net, leading to a frustrating 0-0 draw.
Well done as always to the whole team, really well fought right to the end and especially to Immy Jenner, this weekends ‘man of the match’ for her impressive skills and determination.
