Awesome Girls U11's at BBHC this weekend

What a morning of hockey and what brilliant results were achieved by both of our Teams

TW Wizards (Katie's team) Played 4 Won 4 / Scored 12 and no goals against

TW Magic (My team) Played 4 Won 4 / Scored 11 and no goals against

So whilst off the field a few of us and a few knocks off the pitch !! On the field of play, both teams played at a level that I had not seen before. I don't think we can take all the credit for the fine performances by all the girls I'm sure what they are learning at school is also helping, but they were simply superb. There were many instances of us moving the ball quickly to each other letting the ball do the moving rather than their legs and based on speed and ability the teams could not live with us. I think it was fair to say that whilst we scored a lot of goals I saw many instances where we just missed with our shots just going wide or last-ditch clearances meant we were stopped from scoring more.

Keep up the good work girls. The next tournament will provide us with different opposition in the form of Holcombe and Canterbury two Kent heavyweights, let's see if we KO them too.
