Kent and therefore Tunbridge Wells has been placed in Tier 3 when Lockdown 2 is lifted next week

We await clarification on precisely what this means for us in terms of a return to outdoor hockey activities and will update you as soon as we know.

Outdoor community sport was allowed to continue previously in Tier 3 areas - but only within area.

We are also aware that a number of our players live in a tier 2 area which will also need to be addressed.

What we are allowed to do will also depend on the approach adopted by our pitch providers and we are in touch with them to discuss what today's announcement means for our use of their facilities.

There was a useful England Hockey infographic on what the tier system meant for the playing of hockey published ahead of Lockdown 2 when the tier system was first introduced. This can be found on our website in the "Covid Alert Levels" Click here. Please note that this may be updated in the coming days to reflect any changes that will apply under the new tier system.

Stay safe and keep an eye on your Pitchero messages and the website for updates in the coming days.
