We are fortunate to have a strong social element to the club and our members enjoy social events such as BBQs, quizzes, themed nights at the clubhouse and our annual dinner. Below are details of the current events in the diary.

We also have a monthly prize draw through our 100 club and a popular golf society.

Level 1 umpires course - Thursday 2nd February and Thursday 9th February

We are planning to run another Level 1 umpires course, following the success of the last one when all attendees passed. We shall particularly welcome applications for this course from senior playing members.

Dates: Thursdays 2nd February and 9th February (you need to attend both sessions)
Time: 7pm to 9pm each evening
Location: Nevill Pavilion, Warwick Park, TN2 5ES
Cost: £40 which will be refunded if you pass and commit to umpiring for the club

There is a limit to the number of places, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

The course comprises 3 hours of tutorial followed by a test (we would strongly recommend that you learn the rule book thoroughly for this!). Having passed the test, to gain level 1 status you have to umpire at least three matches and then be assessed while umpiring a further match.

 

Annual dinner dance - Saturday 4th February 2012

At the Spa Hotel. Please arrive from 7pm to be seated at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £45 per person and tables can be booked for 12 people (or thereabouts).

Please print and send off this form to be received by the 14th January.

Ladies' dinner - Saturday 31st March 2012

Please note this is a change of date (it was previously scheduled for the 24th March)

The ladies return to the Nevill for another annual dinner! Tickets are £20 (adults) and £15 (under 18s). To reserve your place, please fill out this form and return it, along with a cheque made out to TWHC, to Jen Hunt.
